The Tega Cay Angler's Club held its first largemouth bass tournament April 25 on Lake Wylie.
Four boats left from Nivens Creek ramp at 6 a.m. and returned at 2 p.m. Not many fish were caught but the fishermen had a great time on the water and a great day fishing.
Mike Kost was the winner of the tournament with a catch of a 6 pound, 4 ounce bass, including another catch of 5 pounds.
TCAC's next bass tournament is scheduled for June 7.
