River Hills Women's Club Luncheon, May 20, River Hills Country Club, Lake Wylie. Cocktails served at noon, followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. and the program, "Remembering Elvis," at 1 p.m. The Invocation will be sung by the members of The Sometimes Singers. HISTORY

Living History Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays year-round, Historic Brattonsville, 1444 Brattonsville Road, McConnells. Witness life in the Carolina Backcountry during the 18th and 19th centuries through activities such as farming, shearing sheep, picking cotton and military drills. Activities and demonstrations vary weekly. Admission: $6 for adults, $5 seniors; $3 ages 4-17, free for members and children 3 and younger. 803-684-2327

Senior Health and Fitness Day, 7:30-11 a.m. May 27, Fort Mill YMCA, 857 Promenade Walk, Fort Mill. Local healthcare providers will be on hand to provide expertise about topics specific to our senior community. Vision, hearing, arthritis, pharmaceuticals and other topics will be discussed. MOTOR MADNESS

Tega Cay Lions' third annual Carolina Motor Madness Car and Motorcycle Show, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. May 30, Knights Stadium, Fort Mill. There will be trophies for different classes of cars and special trophies for motorcycles. This is a family event and includes inflatable slide, moon walk, speed pitch and carousel. There also will be live entertainment with three bands, door prizes and food. Admission is free; there will be a parking fee.
