The Nation Ford boys tennis team is staying positive despite double loses last week against Northwestern and Fort Mill.
"We know that this is a building year, but we are still focused on winning matches and learning as much as possible," said head coach Matt Rohring.
The Falcons took on Fort Mill and were defeated, 6-1.
In singles action, Madison Ott lost to William Reigel 6-0, 6-0, Michael Little lost to Robbie Davis 6-0, 6-1. Danny Randar lost to Paul Shaw 6-0, 6-1. Paul Hoberek lost to Kyle Orsburn 6-0, 6-1. Blake Vandiver lost to Chase Lee 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles action, Ott/Little won 9-8 (9-7), but Tyler Morris and Brandon McGlohon lost to Daniel Proctor and Tyler Davis 6-1, 6-3.
"Fort Mill played really well, but our guys hung in there," Rohring said.
Earlier in the week, the Falcons faced off against Northwestern and were defeated 6-1.

In doubles action Ott and McLelland lost to Zimmerman/Russell 8-3 and Tyler Morris and Brandon McGlohon beat Brian Fitzpatrick and Eric Sabin 7-5, 5-7, 10-4.
