Nation Ford falls by three strokes

In its first home golf match, Nation Ford came in second in a four-team match.

The Falcons, who play their home matches at Springfield Golf Course, located, beside the school, shot a 164, losing by three strokes to South Pointe, who shot a 161. Rock Hill came in fourth, shooting a 167.

Nation Ford bested Clover by a stroke as they were led by junior Brett Snyder's 39.

Snyder and Rock Hill's Jake Corn had the lowest round of the match as the both finished three over par.

Snyder's 39 was followed by junior Garrett Bruce's and freshman A.J. Rosengarth's 41. Seventh-grader Corey Verhage rounded out the scoring for Nation Ford shooting a 43.
