The Indian Land Lady Warriors swept the season series with Chesterfield in a 6-0 win. Senior Kimber Coley threw a two-hitter as Indian Land scattered seven hits to improve to 3-0 in Region III-A.
Now 7-6 on the year, the team was coming off a 2-2 run at the Lady Wildcat tournament in Lexington. In the tournament, Indian Land lost to Easley 2-0, beat Lexington 4-0 and Ridge View 12-1, before losing the final game 6-2 to White Knoll.
Against Chesterfield, Indian Land opened the game with a run in the first inning and were led by Coley as the plate as well as she went 2-3 with two RBIs and a run scored.
Senior Jacquelyn Delaune opened the game with a single and would later score.

As Coley mowed the down on the mound, Indian Land would add three more runs in the third on three errors by Chesterfield. Coley's double plated two runs and was sandwiched between two of the errors.
Indian Land would add a run in the fifth and the sixth as Delaune tripled to start the fifth inning and scored on sophomore Paige Brugh sacrifice fly.
Junior Alyssa Hartley opened the sixth with a double and would score the final run of the game.
Coley improved to 3-3 on the year as she struck out five and didn't issue a walk.
