Spectators held their breath as the Fort Mill Lady Jackets and Clover duked it out in what came to be the closet match of the Lady Jackets' season.
The Lady Jackets saw a scoreless game and over time before finally taking home the win solely on penalty kicks, 4-3.
During the first half of the game, Fort Mill fired six shots, but to no avail. Clover had a sharp defense though. It seemed that there was also another defender on any Jacket that threatened the goal.
After an even second half and overtime, sophomores Taylor Parker, Abbie McDonald, Sarah Wilson and seniors Lexi Wilden were able to drill four penalty kicks into Clover's goal. Lady Jackets' sophomore keeper Alexis McLaine would only allow Clover to respond with three sunken penalty kicks giving Fort Mill the win.
