Haley Elizabeth Hines of Rock Hill and Matthew Robert LaMarche of Columbia were married Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church in Savannah, Ga.
Mrs. LaMarche is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Edward Hines Sr. of Union and the groom's parents are Dennis LaMarche of Hammondsport, N.Y., and Kimberley LaMarche of East Aurora, N.Y.
The Rev. Karen Kilhefner performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a Maggie Sottero strapless A-line gown featuring a fitted bodice and dropped waistline. The skirt back boasted caught-up accents cascading into a bubble hem chapel-length train.
She carried a small, hand-tied nosegay of white hydrangea, white stock, seeded eucalyptus with buplureum and light greens throughout. The ribbon was wrapped in ivory with green pearl pins.
Matrons of honor were Candace Hines Humphries of Union and Whitney Bruce Jones of Virginia Beach, Va. Maid of Honor was Maria Frances Bufis of Greenville. She wore a Bill Levkoff Black taffeta pick-up skirt dress with an ivory sash. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Whittier Hines of Greenville, Jennifer Lynn LaMarche of East Aurora; Lindsay Hartley McCutcheon of Irmo and Lindsay Anne Ryan of Farmington, Conn. Honorary Bridesmaids were Brigitte Lynn Ashley of Chester, Jennifer Harvey Childers of Rock Hill,
Jacqueline Carol Gonzales of San Diego, Calif., Heather Nicole Jamison of Rock Hill, Tara Alice Munn of Rock Hill, Jessica Morton Pack of Murrells Inlet and Erin Elizabeth Mary Wendt of Rock Hill.
Flower girl was Anna Grace Humphries, niece of the bride, of Union. Ring bearer was Zachary Joseph Humphries, nephew of the bride, of Union.
Jeremy David Loso of Greenville was best man. Groomsmen were Charles Michael Bolt of Simpsonville, Jeremiah Christopher Casey of Charlotte, Adam Todd Kendall of Irmo, Benjamin Gray Chavis of Murrells Inlet, Steven Charles Sikora of Myrtle Beach and Joe Edward Hines Jr. of Greenville. Ushers were Jack Parks Arthur, Paul Sarratt Greer III, Patrick Sterling Greer and John Frank Humphries, all of Union.
Registry and program attendants were Katie Ingram Caston of Columbia, Rita Faye Hines of Rock Hill and Kristen Alisha Mullis of York. Readings were done by Daniel Patrick Cooper and Whitney Ann Fleshman, both of Columbia.
A reception was held at Savannah Station.
After an Alaskan cruise, the couple settled in Rock Hill.
The bride attended Winthrop University and received a Bachelor of Arts in early childhood education and a master's degree in reading, plus 30 hours. She is employed at Gold Hill Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher.
The groom received a Bachelor of Science in political science and public administration from Winthrop University and is employed with SRC Aetna as a senior account manager.
