First Baptist Church in Fort Mill is sponsoring sports-oriented clinics that will run from 9 a.m. to noon July 14-18. Clinics offered are football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer and cheerleading. The cost is $25. Register online at www.fbcfm.com.

• Register now for the Fort Mill First Baptist Church Vacation Bible School. This year's program is "Outrigger Island" and will be held 6:15-8:30 p.m. June 22 -27. Events aplenty at Pleasant Hill

Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 238 Fort Mill Hwy., Fort Mill, will have its first Wednesday Fellowship at 6 p.m. on July 2. Enjoy a delicious meal, parade and a spectacular fireworks show. Decorate your bicycles, golf carts and strollers for the Fourth of July parade.

The church is also planning a trip to to hear the Lake Junaluska Singers and enjoy the farmer's market and craft fair Thursday and Friday, July 3-4. Call 548-4922.
