Breakers bounce back in win

After losing its first event of the season to River Hills, the Tega Cay Breakers bounced back late last week to beat both Leroy Springs and Springfield in a three-way meet.

The Breakers won 472 to Leroy Springs 89 and Springfield's 24. Tega Cay won all eight relay events to and improved to 6-1 on the season.

Other top swimmers for the Greenwave were Lauren Reising, Anna Reising, Sabrina Riehl, Grace Caywood, Calvin Kautsky and Hunter Miller.

Earlier in the week for Springfield, Bayag won in the team's meet against Rock Hill Country Club and The Landing. She won in the girls 15-18 50-yard freestyle. Also, winning in that meet for Springfield was Anna Reising in the girls 9-10 25-yard breaststroke.
