Golf gear stolen

Thousands of dollars of golf gear was stolen from a garage, according to a report from the Tega Cay Police Department.

Authorities on April 5 responded to a burglary at 1107 Dove Trace, where a 42-year-old man told police that golf gear, including Calloway irons, a golf bag and pair of golf shoes, were stolen from his opened garage, the report notes.

The man told police the burglary happened at some point between March 28 and April 4. The stolen gear was valued at $3,000, according to the report.

Also, a Fort Mill man on Garnet Court told police April 2 that when he was interrupted by a telephone call while taking out the trash, someone stole nearly $2,000 dollars worth of golf gear from his opened garage, according to a report from the York County Sheriff's Office.

Teens, cited for having alcohol

Police cited two Fort Mill teens and two others in connection with possession of beer under the age of 21, according to a report from the York County Sheriff's Office.

Cited with possession of beer under 21 were Ryan Michael Duggan, 19, of 933 Cadogen Court, and Michael Willard Jacobs, 18, of 911 Cara Court, both of Fort Mill; Shawn Ryan Snyder, 19, of 1036 Bounty Lane, and Shawn Paul Laflotte Church, 19, of Rock Hill, according to the report.

The report notes officers around 2:10 a.m. Friday, April 3, responded to a possible disturbance among teens at 911 Cara Court in Baxter, where they discovered four teens sitting in the garage and multiple beer cans and plastic cups, according to the report.

Adult accused of supplyng minor

A noise ordinance violation landed a Fort Mill teen and man in jail for underage drinking related charges, according to a report from York County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities charged Renee Lynn Faulkenberry, 19, of 2105 Midnight Blue Lane with minor consuming beer, the report notes. James Allen Broom, 31, of 1128 Williams Road, was charged with transfer of beer to a minor. Authorities also gave Broom a verbal noise ordinance warning, the report notes.

When police responded around 4 a.m. Saturday, April 4, to 1128 Williams Road, a female, later identified as Faulkenberry, tried to climb out of a rear house window, the report notes.

Domestic violence arrest

A Fort Mill man was arrested after police said he punched a 27-year-old woman below her eye after the pair argued because their toddler was sick.

Friday, April 3, police charged Manuel Fabian Urrego of 316 Deep Water Lane with criminal domestic violence, according to a report from the York County Sheriff's Office.
