Tega Cay Lions anniversary April 11
In honor of the Tega Cay Lions' 35th anniversary, Mayor Bob Runde proclaimed the week of April 12 as Tega Cay Lions Week. The Lions will celebrate the milestone Saturday, April 11, and is looking for former members.
If you were a member of the club anytime over the past 35 years or know of former members, please let the club know because they would love to invite you to the dinner.
The cost is $20 per person and the dinner will be held at the Glennon Community Center in Tega Cay beginning at 6 p.m. Moira Quinn, COO, Charlotte Center City Partners, will be the keynote speaker. Reservations must be made in advance.

DAR comes to Indian Land
The first meeting of a new Indian Land chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at the Del Webb Library, 7641 Charlotte Hwy., Indian Land.
Jacci Wagner, regent of the Nation Ford Chapter, and Dianne Killmer, member of the Catawba Chapter in Rock Hill, will be the speakers.

Lions selling Vidalia onions
The Tega Cay Lions are taking pre-order sales for Vidalia onions. You may order a 10-pound bag for $11 to be delivered at the end of April or first week of May.

Administrators meet in Baxter
In recognition of Administrative Professionals Day, the Rock Hill Area Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals is hosting an open house 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, at the Fort Mill Library in Baxter Village. Light refreshments will be served.
The invitation extends to employers as well as any administrative professional in the chapter's area of service which includes York, Lancaster and Mecklenburg counties. It will be an opportunity to learn all about the IAAP and the Rock Hill Area chapter, which has members from Fort Mill and other nearby areas.
They welcome prospective members to attend monthly meetings held the third Tuesday of each month at the Fort Mill Library in Baxter Village.

The Vintage Club of Tega Cay is planning a day trip for Friday, April 17: A visit to the Wing Haven Garden and Bird Sanctuary followed by lunch at Dolcetto's in South Park.
