Smith 4th in fishing event

Chris Smith of Fort Mill placed placed fourth in the inaugural 2009 Olympiad Fly Masters Tournament in Lake Lure, N.C., and Chimney Rock, N.C. held May 2-3. Sixteen anglers from across the Carolinas competed.

"The accuracy course presented competitors with every conceivable obstacle an angler might encounter while fishing - close targets, distance targets, targets blocked by obstructions and bonus targets - that tested the abilities of even the best casters," Smith said.
