The Nation Ford Falcons baseball team opened the season last week by splitting games before being washed out the rest of the week.
Nation Ford fell to South Pointe in the season opener 7-6 in eight innings.
An error filled game saw the two teams combine for seven errors as South Pointe rallied for the win.
Sophomore Kyle Whitman got the start for Nation Ford on the hill and went seven innings giving up six runs and seven hits, while striking out 10 and walking just one, but came away with a no decision.
The next night Nation Ford made up for the loss by beating Ridge View 14-8.
Nation Ford collected 12 hits, but still made a head full of errors in the win. Wells picked up the win on the mound by going four strong innings and getting the run support he needed with the help of a six run fourth inning by the Falcons. Hicks finished the game by pitching two scoreless innings.
