Two more robberies happened hours apart in York County late Thursday and early Friday.
On Lige Street in Rock Hill, four people were on their way to visit a relative when two masked men held them at gunpoint. One of the robbers pointed his gun and said, “Give it up.” The other pointed his gun at a victim's chest and pulled the trigger twice, but the gun didn't go off.
Then the men began pulling people out of the car, saying “Give it up, it's Christmastime.”
A fight ensued until one of the suspect's masks was removed and one of the victims recognized him.
The suspect apologized and drove away. The victims were uncooperative with detectives, Rock Hill Police reported.
