Report: Man tampered with church sign
A Fort Mill man is suspected of posting a political message on a church marquee without permission, according to a Fort Mill Police report.
The report states a deacon from Glen Rock Baptist Church called police around 7 a.m. Sunday to report the unauthorized message. Police earlier, around 4 a.m., had confronted a 60-year-old man changing the sign. He told police then that he was allowed to do so. But the church deacon explained to police the activity was not authorized and the church has had ongoing problems with someone stealing lettering from the sign and changing the messages.

Woman charged with DUI, child endangerment
A Rock Hill mom has been arrested and charged with drunk driving and endangering a child after police say she drove drunk with a 10-year-old girl in her car, according to a Tega Cay Police report.
The alleged incident happened around 10:45 p.m. Nov. 3. The woman, 46, allegedly got into another woman’s Chevrolet Tahoe and left the club with her 10-year-old daughter following a confrontation, witnesses told police. She drove the truck to a home off Clear Point Drive in Tega Cay. A witness called police because they suspected the woman to be extremely intoxicated, the report states. Police arrived at the home and found the woman there arguing with a man who had taken a cab from the golf club to the home.
The woman told police she had driven away from the golf club in order to remove her daughter from a hostile situation, the report states. Police gave the woman a sobriety test, which she failed. She was arrested and charged with drunk driving and child endangerment. A family member was called to come take custody of the child. The police report did not explain the nature of the arguments.

The report states police were called to the home around 3:30 a.m. Nov.1. The man, 41, told police that the 43-year-old woman attacked him because she “drank a half gallon of liquor and had went crazy,” the report states. He had visible scratches and bruises on his face.
Police found empty liquor bottles inside the home. They also learned that the man was not supposed to be on the home’s premises because of a trespass warning. Both individuals were arrested.
