The two vehicle owners told police last week they left their vehicles parked overnight unlocked at Peachtree Place. The next day, both reported personal belongings taken from inside the cars.

Report: Man bitten by child’s mother

A Fort Mill man told police the 18-year-old mother of his child bit him and punched him during an argument, according to a Fort Mill Police report.

The man, 22, told police he was arguing with the woman over a ride to work. When he refused to get out of her car, the woman allegedly bit him on the back, and punched him and hit him around the head, the report states.

The woman had left the scene by the time police arrived.

Biker accused of urinating in public

A 68-year-old man was arrested Saturday after police say he relieved himself in a credit union parking lot, according to a Fort Mill Police report.

Police say they saw the man standing next to his parked BMW motorcycle in the parking lot at Founder Federal Credit Union on North White Street. He was standing near the building’s wall with his pants unzipped, urinating, the report states. The man told police he had to go to the bathroom because he had a bladder problem.

The responding officer arrested the man for violating a town ordinance. He is identified as John Elbert Stamps, 68, of Fort Myers, Fla.

Police reports of all felonies and any major misdemeanors are compiled weekly from local law enforcement agency records. Charges do not necessarily result in a conviction, and people who are arrested are innocent until proven guilty.
