Can’t wait until the Sept. 28 Dog Gone Good Time Festival in Fort Mill to do some good for homeless pets in need? The good news is, you don’t have to! Available right now are dozens of great dogs and cats waiting to meet you at the Humane Society of York County in Fort Mill.
Among them, the HSYC wants to showcase the Golden Team:
Lexi is a 9-year-old pug mix who is good with other dogs and is housebroken. What more could you ask for?
Cameron is a 4-year-old point /Welsh spring spaniel mix. He is a sweet boy who needs a quiet home without small children. He is housebroken and ready for his new life to start. Come in and meet him, you’ll fall head over heels.
Chip is a little young to be with the Golden Team, but the HSYC wanted to share his story. Chip is a special boy, about 2 years old whose owner had to relocate overseas and couldn’t bring him along. He needs a secure, loving home and humans who will never abandon him. Chip is one of the best little dogs you’d want to meet.
Coda, 8, is a beautiful, rugged girl who came to the shelter just after having a litter. She is now spayed and ready for her new home. She is a quiet girl who needs someone to interact with her and remind her she can have fun being a dog.
Tara was given up with her sister Prissy at 13 years old. They are both lovely gals. They’ll both take some time to adjust to their new surroundings but they will give head nudges and purrs once comfortable and in time come to you for loving. If you are that special someone who can adopt one or both of these Senior Sisters, please stop in and meet them. They are sweet girls. They don’t like to be picked up, but that could be a trust issue.
Miss Priss is a 4-year-old spayed female. She’s a big girl who loves to head nudge you and rub up against you as you pet her. She is such a sweet talker and she’ll steal your heart. Her family had to give her up and she misses having a family of her very own.
Chloe, 6, is a spayed female. She was adopted as a kitten 6 years ago and experienced some trauma and needs a quiet home where she can be the center of attention. She is very sweet and loving and loves affection.
