Retired Pro Bowl cornerback Everson Walls will be signing autographs 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Towne Tavern, 2000 Hwy. 160 West across from Baxter Village in Fort Mill.
Walls, who played most of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, went on to win a Super Bowl with the New York Giants when he joined the team after the 1989 season. He had 11 interceptions as a rookie with the Cowboys. On the Giants' 1990 championship team, Walls led the team in interceptions with six and made a critical tackle in the Super Bowl on the final drive of the game. After leaving the Giants, Walls played the final years of his career with the Cleveland Browns.
He's signing autographs Sunday as a guest of a Chester-based group of Cowboys fans who are watching Dallas' game against the Seattle Seahawks at Towne Tavern. Other fans are invited to join them.
