The Nation Ford High School Performing Arts Company, presents the British comedy “Blithe Spirit” Oct. 16-18.
“Blithe Spirit” is a comedy by Noel Coward. The story is about author Charles Condomine and his current wife, Ruth. Charles is writing a new book about mediums so he invites Madame Arcati, a local medium, for dinner and a séance so he can study her.
Unbeknownst to Madame Arcati, Charles and Ruth don’t believe in mediums and think her to be a harmless fake. But during the séance, the spirit of Charles’ first wife, Elvira, makes an appearance and only Charles can see and hear her. This leads to many comic misinterpretations.
This is a fun and lighthearted comedy.
