Tega Cay Police Dept. hosts anti-bullying workshop tonight

Whether it is over a computer, a phone or in person, bullying is a problem faced by many schools and families.

It’s not a hopeless situaton: Parents and students are invited to Tega Cay Elementary tonight at 6 p.m. to learn how to stop bullying.

The school resource officer for Tega Cay Elementary will help parents and students understand a variety of topics, including who is a bully, what can we do to stop bullying, cyber bullying, sexting and intervention tips, said Lt. Buddy Spence of the Tega Cay Police Department.

Questions are encouraged after the presentation.
