Stand with our police officers
There is a great deal of corrosive media attention presently focused on our nation’s police departments, which is fueled by political and social agendas that disregard the root problem.
The root problem does not lie with the police officers but with those arrogant and undisciplined thugs who thumb their noses at authority knowing that the hands of those who are committed to serving and protecting the public are increasingly tied by shameless and self-serving politicians whose only purposes are to increase their power and remain in office.
Instead of placing more restrictions on those who try to protect us, they need to take a stand against those insurgents who promote anarchy and disrespect of proper authority. As individuals and as a community, we need to stand in support of those who truly serve and protect us. Not the politicians who have forgotten where the authority to rule really comes from but those humble and heroic men and women (and their families) who put themselves in harm’s way each day to enforce the laws necessary to keep order in our increasingly lawless society. We can never repay those dedicated police officers sufficiently but we can stand with them against corrupt and self-seeking agitators.
