Fort Mill Complex to host ‘Tomorrowland’ preview party

The Complex on the Greenway in Fort Mill has partnered with the local Macaroni Kid and Disney Junior to host a premiere party for the Disney Junior network’s new series, “Miles from Tomorrowland” at 2 p.m. Feb. 1.

"We are excited to be asked to help with one of the premiere events for the new Disney show," said Tammy Woods, director of the complex. "The children will enjoy this fun."

In the series, which debuts 9 a.m. Feb. 6 on the Disney Junior channel, Miles Callisto and his best friend Merc, a robo-ostrich, will explore the galaxy and experience science, technology and space travel. The series incorporates space and science facts into the story lines that chart the outer space missions of young adventurer Miles and his family as they help connect the galaxy on behalf of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority.

This event is intended for children ages 2-7. Parents are required to stay with their children for the duration of the party. The complex is located at 971 Tom Hall Street (Hwy. 160 East). Admission is free, but registration is required at fortmill.macaronikid.com.
