York County “No Wrong Door” presents a Raising Awareness of Parents session focusing on “Helping Children Cope with SADDness” Feb. 5 at the Fort Mill School District Office, 2233 Deerfield Drive.
There are two sessions offered – 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (lunch will be served) and 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Join Fort Mill School District experts Jane Liotta, LPC, lead clinician for Behavioral and Mental Services, and Mark Meachem, LISW-CP, a mental health therapist, for a presentation and interactive discussion about helping children deal with stress, anxiety, depression, and destructive behavior – aka “SADDness.”
Professionals and officials will be available after each session to answer questions about family support, mental health, educational, and substance abuse concerns.
