As their summer break came to an end, teachers and staff at Pleasant Knoll Elementary School decided to get in the back-to-school spirit by making an upbeat music video to welcome in the new academic year.
They posted the video to YouTube just days before the new school year began.
Technology teacher Candice Buchanan said the idea to create a dance video to the Justin Timberlake hit “Can't Fight This Feeling” came to her one day while she was driving down the road.
“That song was on the radio and I though about all the great people I work with,” she said.

She immediately sent out an email to everyone at the school asking them to participate.
“They were all on board,” Buchanan said.
The result is four minutes of dancing fun and antics performed by the school's teachers, support staff and a cameo by Principal Grey Young. Buchanan said it really does help them get pumped up for a new year.
“We spend the summer getting more ideas and (I'm looking forward to) implementing those and spending time with the kids and getting those ah-ha moments,” Buchanan said.
From physical education teacher Lindsay Dillon doing the worm down a hallway to a covert special appearance by the school's “secret pet,” the video surely brought a smile to the faces of the over 2,000 viewers who have watched it on YouTube the past few days.
