Tega Cay Patriots bounce back with 3 straight wins

After dropping its first game, the Tega Cay Patriots have a 3-1 record at the midway portion of the Mite tackle football season.

“I am really proud of the boys for coming back after losing the first game,” said head coach Michael Lewis.

“The past three games our offense has scored a total of 86 points and our defense has only given up one touchdown. They have really worked hard to prove themselves in this league.”

The Patriots will face the undefeated Tega Cay Panthers at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 15 at Gold Hill Middle School. After that, the team plays the Tega Cay Chargers 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at Springfield Middle School and then start league playoff games Oct. 29. The league championship game is scheduled for Nov. 5.
