Two men were charged with trespassing early Thursday morning after police say they jumped a barbed-wire fence and climbed to the top of a Rock Hill water tower to “see the views.”
Police went to Highland Park on North Jones Avenue at about 1 a.m. after receiving calls that two men were at the top of the water tower, according to a Rock Hill police report. Officers used their in-car P.A. system to order the men to come down from the tower.
Rock Hill firefighters responded to help get the two men down.
A woman, 19, told police that her boyfriend and another friend had climbed to the top of the tower to “see the views,” the report states.
