An arrest has been made in connection with a incident earlier this month in which a man allegedly stole from his grandfather.
The 58-year-old victim told police that his grandson, Shaquille Baxter, 20, of Rock Hill asked for food and shelter Sept. 2 at his Favorwood Drive home. The victim would not allow Baxter to live with him due to past issues, a Rock Hill police report says. He did agree to let him take a shower and sleep on the couch.
The next morning, the victim went to work and made Baxter leave with him, dropping him off at a dollar store.
The victim came home that afternoon and saw that a window was open and his Taurus Model 66 magnum revolver was missing.

The victim believes that Baxter unlocked the window during the night and returned when the house was empty.
Rock Hill Police found Baxter at his South Stonewall Avenue residence Saturday, smoking marijuana, the report states.
He was arrested and charged with first degree burglary and marijuana possession, first offense. The gun was found by his mother and turned into police. He was denied bond, and is being held at the York County Detention Center.
