A Rock Hill man was arrested this week after police caught him with a concealed pistol near Winthrop University, Rock Hill police say.
Christopher Jackson, 23, was standing outside the Ultra Tan on Cherry Road talking on his cell phone and looking “suspicious,” a Rock Hill Police report states. Jackson appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, police say. He was seen with something pushed down in the back of his pants behind his shirt.
When Winthrop and Rock Hill police arrived, Jackson was recording both of them with his cell phone, the report states. He stated he was being harassed by the officers.
A pat down search led to the discovery of a loaded semi-automatic handgun inside of a holster, the report states.
