A Rock Hill man is accused of slashing his brother’s tires in a dispute over rent, police say.
Charles Jolly, 23, and his 31-year-old brother got into an argument in front of their Eastwood Drive residence Friday afternoon, a Rock Hill police report states. The victim left the scene to avoid fighting, the report states.
While he was gone, Jolly took out a knife and slashed the right rear tire of his brother’s 2002 Chevrolet Impala, the report states. Police found Jolly walking away from the scene, denying the charges. He claimed he was attacked by his brother with a knife.
Police took Jolly into custody and transported him to the Rock Hill city jail with a $500 bond.
