Bullet found inside Chester home after drive-by shooting

Investigators found five rounds outside a home in Chester after a neighbor reported a drive-by shooting on Pineridge Road Thursday night.

Deputies from the Chester County Sheriff’s Office were called out to the home around 11:15 p.m. Thursday after a neighbor reported people in a gray four-door car were shooting at his neighbor’s house, according to an incident report.

The woman, 37, who lived in the house confirmed to deputies that someone had shot at her house but that no one was injured. Deputies found five rounds in the road by the mailbox and saw a hole in the house and chipped wood on the floor from a bullet, the report states.

The woman told the deputies that her son had been “having problems” with some boys for a few months and that he was in a fight at school last week.

No arrests were made and suspect information was not available.
