A Rock Hill man who had been jailed awaiting trial for four years on a $1 million bond for shocking sex crimes involving children will serve 30 years in prison after pleading guilty Friday.
David Dietrich, 49, pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal sexual conduct for molesting minors, said Erin Joyner, 16th Circuit assistant solicitor.
Dietrich was sentenced to 30 years in prison for those crimes. However, those sentences will be served concurrently because in September, Dietrich was sentenced in federal court in Columbia after pleading guilty in April to criminal exploitation of a minor.
In that case, Dietrich, who had lived in Ohio and North Carolina before living in Rock Hill in 2010, took a minor across state lines and also took lewd videos and photos of the child. He was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for that crime, according to court records.

In the plea agreements in both courts, federal and state prosecutors agreed that the sentences for all the crimes should run concurrently.
