Report: Gunmen in Fort Mill home invasion steal $600

Three people were watching television at their Fort Mill home late last week when two masked men with guns entered their house and robbed them, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.

The front door was slightly open to cool down the Pine Ridge Court home Thursday night when the suspects just pushed it in. The intruders were said to have handguns, but the victims couldn’t tell if they were semi-automatic or revolvers, the report states.

The armed robbers took at least $600 in cash from the victims, as well as credit and debit cards, and then fled the scene.

According to the report, one suspect was a heavyset, bald man with a long goatee and mustache, while the other was slender with long cornrows.

A K-9 unit followed a track to a church parking lot, where deputies believe they entered the vehicle and left.

The victims were treated for minor injuries. They told police they had no idea who the suspects could have been.
