A Fort Mill man is accused of stealing televisions and guns from his parents while they were out of town.
The 69-year-old victim and his wife were out of town for a month and returned to their Williams Road on this week to find three televisions and three guns had been taken. The victim called his 43-year-old son about the televisions and he told his father he sold them, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.
The son also took a pistol and rifle to an Indian Land pawn shop, and he pawned a shotgun in Rock Hill, the report states. He was able to retrieve the guns with the help of police, the report states.
The father told police his son had been living with them for a while and that he had a substance abuse problem.
