A Rock Hill man reportedly fought his neighbor over missing beer.
Jerroa Graham, 36, and a 39-year-old man reportedly had a verbal altercation at a Chestnut Street address Sunday morning, according to a police report.
Graham accused the victim of stealing his beer. The victim claims Graham hit him in the mouth.
Graham told police the victim charged at him, and he was defending himself.
The victim had a visible cut lip, police say, and there was no evidence to support Graham’s version of the story.
Graham was arrested and charged with assault and battery, third degree.
This was Graham’s second arrest within four days. On Thursday, Graham was charged with cruelty to children. He’s accused of hitting his 15-year-old son with a belt on the buttocks 15 times, as well as striking him in the ribs.
He is held at the Rock Hill Jail on a $2,000 bond.
