A Rock Hill woman was charged with fraud after her boyfriend accused her of using his debit card without permission.
The boyfriend told police Becky Talley, 45, went through his wallet Monday morning while he was in the restroom at his West Roy Street home. She allegedly took the card and spent $200 of the victim’s money at Food Lion and a department store, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
Police went to store and observed video surveillance of Talley making the purchases.
Talley and the victim have had an on and off relationship for 10 years, the report states. Talley told police she had approval to use the card, but the boyfriend denied giving permission.
She was charged with financial transaction fraud and transported to the Rock Hill Jail. Talley is being held on a $8,500 bond.
