Deputies: Trailer stolen from Clover man’s home

A trailer was stolen from a man’s property in Clover, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.

A 62-year-old man told deputies that between Wednesday evening and Friday morning, someone stole his Carolina Trailer from his Green Pond Road property.

The trailer contained some scrap metal and a 2001 Honda Arctic Cat 400 all-terrain vehicle was hooked to the trailer. The trailer is valued at $1,800, and the all-terrain vehicle is valued at $4,200.

It is the third trailer theft in recent weeks.

On Jan. 11, a 2015 Cargo Craft Inc. double-axle trailer was stolen from the York Baptist Association on Museum Road in Rock Hill. It was recovered on Jan. 13 at the K.E.D. Plasma construction site on Cherry Road.

Also on Sunday, a 51-year-old Rock Hill man reported that his dark gray utility trailer was stolen from his Lesslie Woods Court residence. It contained $200 in diesel fuel.

Police are investigating the incidents.
