Man, 2 teens charged in Lancaster home invasion

Three suspects were arrested in connection to a home invasion in Lancaster earlier this month.

On Jan. 14, three masked men held two people at gunpoint in the Edgemont Drive home and demanded money, according to a release from the Lancaster Police Department. One of the men told the others they were in the wrong house and they fled.

An investigation led officers to identify and apprehend Austin Collins, 17, of Lancaster on Jan. 22.

Matthew McManus, 25, and Carlos Alberto Castro Romero, 16, both of Lancaster, were arrested Monday.

Collins and McManus were charged with burglary, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during a violent crime. Romero, who is being charged as an adult, faces burglary and armed robbery charges.
