A Rock Hill woman told police a neighbor vandalized her home after she turned off her wireless Internet.
The woman, 56, lives on Marion Street, and reported that her neighbor, a 16-year-old boy, used to stand by the fence and use her Wi-Fi connection, according to a Rock Hill police report.
Around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, the woman reported hearing several BB gun shots. She saw the teenager near her house, although he did not have a BB gun in his hand. When police arrived, they saw six BB pellet-sized holes in one of the woman’s windows.
When police questioned the teen and his family, they said his grandfather destroyed his spring-loaded BB gun a few weeks ago and that he’d sold his air-powered gun “a while ago.” The teen told police he saw another person shoot at the house, then run away.

There wasn’t enough evidence to charge the teen, but he was trespassed from the woman’s property.
