3 Rock Hill teens charged with drug possession after traffic stop

Three Rock Hill teenagers were arrested and one man is wanted after police found drugs and beer in the car they were driving on Thursday night.

Rock Hill police pulled over a white Lexus on Patriot Parkway because one of the headlights was out, a report states. The officers detected “a strong odor of marijuana.”

When they searched the car and the suspects, they found 2.19 grams of marijuana and two cans of beer. One of the cans was open.

The driver, Jason McCracken, 17, and one of the passengers, Dylan Catoe, 18, were charged with possession of marijuana. A second passenger, Congrad Burland, 18, was charged with possession of marijuana and having an open container of alcohol. A third passenger, 24, ran away from officers towards the Arborwood Apartments.

Warrants for possession of marijuana and resisting police were issued for the man’s arrest.
