A Rock Hill woman flipped her car while driving intoxicated and carrying a pill bottle full of methamphetamine, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Police were called to the 800 block of Cowan Road at 11 a.m. Tuesday when a Honda went off the road and flipped onto its side. Witnesses told police the car swerved across the roadway and struck the curb twice before it flipped.

The driver, Lynsey Nicole Robinson, 26, had already climbed out of the car by the time officers arrived, according to the report. Officers tried to perform a field sobriety test, the report states, but after the test didn’t go well, Robinson stopped and told the officer, “Just take me to jail.”

A blood alcohol test reveled Robinson had not been drinking, the report states, but officers also took a blood sample for later analysis to check for other drugs.

Inside the car, officers recovered a pill bottle containing 0.19 grams of methamphetamine, according to the report.

Robinson was charged with possession of amphetamine and DUI second or subsequent offense, as she has two prior DUI convictions in the last five years.
