3 arrested after weapons, drugs found in Rock Hill sting

Three people were charged after a joint operation between Charlotte and York County authorities that yielded multiple weapons and a garden variety of drugs, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and the York County Multi-jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit on Wednesday executed a search warrant at a home on Sandpiper Drive in Rock Hill, according to a sheriff’s report. During that search, they found 27-year-old Shawn Roseberry Bisnauth and 28-year-old Lashunda Annette McMoore with 27.7 grams of methamphetamine, 16.9 grams of heroin, 3.5 grams of cocaine, 1.3 grams of marijuana, three doses of clonazepam and two doses of ecstasy, according to police.

The two also had a 9mm handgun and a sawed-off rifle in the home, which deputies said is less than a half-mile from Sullivan Middle School.

Bisnauth, who has two prior drug convictions, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine-third offense, trafficking heroin-third offense, possession with intent to distribute cocaine-third offense, possession with intent to distribute heroin in proximity to a school, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in proximity to a school, possession with intent to distribute cocaine in proximity to a school, possession of clonazepam-third offense, possession of ecstasy-third offense, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a sawed-off rifle, according to officials.

Authorities say McMoore was charged with trafficking methamphetamine-first offense, trafficking herion-first offense, possession with intent to distribute cocaine-first offense, possession with intent to distribute heroin in proximity to a school, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in proximity to a school, possession with intent to distribute cocaine in proximity to a school, possession of clonazepam-first offense, possession of ecstasy-first offense, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a sawed-off rifle and possession of marijuana.

A third person was charged with simple possession of marijuana, according to the report.

Bisnauth remained in the York County Detention Center without bond Friday. McMoore’s bond was set at $65,120.
