A Rock Hill man was charged with driving without a license when officers found him asleep behind the wheel while in the drive-through at a McDonald’s restaurant at 3 a.m. Saturday, according to a Rock Hill police report.
Police were called to a suspicious vehicle in the drive-through of the 24-hour store at the intersection of Mount Gallant and Celanese Road and found the driver, Jaquine Deonta Byers, 36, asleep, police said.
Officers woke Byers, who said he had worked late and admitted he drove the vehicle, despite his North Carolina driver license’s having been suspended.
