Thief breaks into Rock Hill Domino’s through ceiling

by Michael Owens, The Herald

A thief broke in through the roof of a Rock Hill Domino’s and then dropped down through the ceiling to steal cash from the pizzeria, according to a Rock Hill Police report.

The assistant manager of the East White Street location called police to report the break-in, which occurred sometime between midnight and 9:45 a.m. on Friday.

The suspect dropped down through the roof and caused several thousand dollars of damage to the structure and alarm system. The thief then got away with $345 out of several lock boxes and attempted to open the establishment’s safe, but was unsuccessful, the report states.

Police searched the restaurant and processed the scene. Security footage will be available at a later date, according to the report.
