One person was killed and a second was critically injured after a Monday shooting in York, police said.
The shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. on the 200 block of Mighty Joe Trail in the Green Acres subdivision, York Police Chief Andy Robinson said. One person was killed and a second was critically injured.
The deceased victim was found in the yard, Robinson said. The second victim was found inside the home and was airlifted to a hospital. The second victim’s condition was not known late Monday.
The deceased person’s identity will be released by the York County Coroner’s Office once the family has been notified.

Officers responding to the shooting were given a description of a possible suspect vehicle and saw the vehicle on Singletary Lane fleeing, Robinson said. They stopped the vehicle and detained the driver.
It wasn’t clear Monday what led to the shooting or if the driver has been charged.
A Kia SUV was backed up to the front porch of the home, which had bullet holes in it, and a case of beer sat on a table on the front porch. A person at the home declined to speak with reporters.
Robinson said investigators expect to have more information Tuesday.
