Rock Hill police need help finding a woman who allegedly entered a medical facility and took a purse belonging to a health care employee.
The theft happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday at a medical office on Riverchase Boulevard, according to a police report. The victim told officers she was transferring a patient when she saw the suspect walking in a secured hallway.
The victim said she ended up coming back to her workstation, at which point she heard a cabinet door shut and saw the female suspect emerge from the workroom, the report states. The victim asked the suspect if she needed something and the suspect said she was “looking for a third-floor room number.”
The suspect left when the victim told her she was on the second floor, police said. The victim went to the cabinet in which her purse was stored and found that it had been moved.
