Dennis Wells, a York school board member for the past two years, has resigned from the school board, citing personal reasons.
Wells was appointed by the board to fill a vacant Seat 5 in October 2014. The term expires this year.
Seat 5 represents a large rural area in the western part of the district, including the McConnells area.
Wells could not be reached for immediate comment.
