Freshman midfielder Miquel Casajuana scored four goals and senior forward Saidi Isaac scored a hat trick to lead the Winthrop men's soccer team to a storming 9-1 win over Brevard College on Tuesday at the Eagle Field.
Casajuana became only the fifth different player in Winthrop history to score four goals in one game, while this marked the third time Isaac has scored a hat trick in his career.
The Eagles (7-2-1) dominated the offensive action, posting 24 shots, while the Tornados (3-10-1) had only four attempts. Neither Patrick Mitrovich nor Mike McCullion, who played in goal on Tuesday, had to make a save.
Freshman midfielder Drew Sanders, who picked up his first career goal, and senior defender John Gilkerson scored the other two goals for Winthrop.
