Saturday's Rock Hill-Northwestern baseball game was postponed because another round of heavy rain was forecast.

Trojans assistant coach Jamie Childress said a makeup date has not been set. As soon as a decision is made, it will be announced in The Herald.

The game, at Northwestern, is key to both teams in the Region 3-AAAA standings. Northwestern, idle on Friday, is in second place at 7-2. Rock Hill is a game behind at 6-3 after beating Fort Mill 7-2 on Friday.

York is atop the region with a 7-1 record and hosts Northwestern at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

The top two teams in the region standings are home in the first round of the playoffs. The third- and fourth-place teams are on the road.
