The Herald Jamboree was the third scrimmage of the week for York, but the Cougars showed little sign of fatigue as they crushed Lewisville 20-6 during the third period of the jamboree.
Lewisville opened and ended the period with two outstanding drives, but did little in between.
The Lions took the opening kickoff and drove into Cougar territory before turning the ball over on downs. The drive took nearly five minutes off the clock, as the York offense waited for its opportunity.
The Cougars took over on their own 38, and methodically drove down for an easy 6-yard run by Questin Walker. Logan Bass added the point after, and spurred 20 consecutive points by the Cougars.

Adrion Crawford looked good at the quarterback position for York. Crawford attempted only three passes, but completed two. One of the completions resulted in the second Cougar score, a 16-yard pass to fullback Nick Feemster.
York's offense was efficient. In the two-quarter scrimmage, the Cougars had three offensive possessions and scored touchdowns each opportunity.
The final Cougar score came on a Vernon Mill's 6-yard run on a drive engineered by backup quarterback Matt Haynie.
