Nation Ford 41, Fort Mill 21
Coming back to her old stomping grounds, Nation Ford’s Amiah Lindsay, who attended Fort Mill High last year, scored 14 points to lead the Falcons over Fort Mill and clinch second place in Region 4-5A.
The Falcons were aided by eight points from Kelci Adams, while Fort Mill was led by K.K. Patterson and Wallace Cortazar, who scored seven points each.

Nation Ford (15-6, 6-2 Region 4-5A) used a 7-0 run in the third quarter to pull away from Fort Mill (11-12, 2-6) after the game was tied at 13-13. The Falcons capitalized on Fort Mill turnovers during the run.
Ellona Moulds scored four points for Nation Ford during the run. The Falcons outscored Fort Mill 13-5 in the quarter hitting five of 10 shots from the field.
Nation Ford started the second quarter with back-to-back buckets by Lindsay.
The Jackets hit just one shot in the second quarter, a 3-pointer by Cortazar.
Fort Mill finished fourth in the region and both teams will open the playoffs next week.
Rock Hill 73, Northwestern 41
Fourth-ranked Rock Hill opened a 44-18 lead at halftime and went on to topple Northwestern 73-41 a Region 4-5A game at Northwestern Friday night.
Rock Hill finished the regular season as the region champion. The Bearcats had an overall record of 20-3 and were 7-1 in region action. Northwestern finished at 4-18 overall and 0-8 in the region.
South Pointe 69, Lancaster 66
South Pointe edged Lancaster 69-66 in a Region 3-4A game at Lancaster Friday night.
South Pointe is 17-8 overall and 6-4 in the region. Lancaster is 7-12 in all games and 3-7 in region play.
Richland Northeast 72, York 37
Richland Northeast defeated York 72-37 in a Region 3-4A game at York Friday night.
York finished the regular season 4-18 overall and 1-9 in region play.
Cardinal Newman 76, York Prep 30
Cardinal Newman routed York Preparatory Academy 76-30 in a non-region game at York Prep in Rock Hill Friday night.
Lewisville 37, McBee 34
Lewisville came back in the fourth period to beat McBee 37-34 in a Region 2A game at Richburg Thursday night.
Lewisville led 22-20 at halftime, but McBee rallied and took a 29-25 lead after three periods. Lewisville outscored McBee 12-7 in the final eight minutes to take the win.
Amber Bass led Lewisville with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and one blocked shot. Katlyn Fossett added six points and Allie Keels and Hannah McCallister scored four points each.
Lewisville is 5-15 overall and 3-7 in the region.
Fairfield Central 50, Indian Land 27
Fairfield Central defeated Indian Land 50-27 in a Region 4-3A game at Fairfield Central Thursday night.
Indian Land finished the regular season 0-22 overall and 0-10 in the region.
Nation Ford 63, Fort Mill 51
Nation Ford won the Region 4-5A title by beating rival Fort Mill 63-51 to finish the Falcons’ region schedule a perfect 8-0 mark.
The Falcons’ Zeb Graham led Nation Ford (16-6, 8-0 Region 4-5A) by scoring 23 points, 14 of them coming in the third quarter, to have the Falcons pull away from Fort Mill. The Jackets finished second in the region as both teams will open the playoffs next week with home games.
Fort Mill (14-8, 6-2 Region 4-5A) was led in scoring by Josh Amigo and Ryan Heriot, who both scored 15 points each. Khydarius Smith added 19 points for Nation Ford.
Fort Mill made a game of it in the fourth quarter after trailing by more than 20 as the Yellow Jackets hit four 3-pointers in the final two minutes to get within 10 points at 59-49, but the Falcons held strong to end the game.
Nation Ford would outscore Fort Mill 21-7 in the third quarter to take a 40-25 lead after three periods. Graham came out and scored the first five points for Nation Ford to extend their halftime lead to 24-20 to open the third quarter. Both teams struggled scoring in the early going of the second half except for Graham and Heriot for Fort Mill.
Nation Ford’s Ben Tuipulotu hit a 3-pointer to give the Falcons their biggest lead of the game with about four minutes left in the third quarter. Nation Ford pushed that lead to 10 points as Graham would drain another 3-pointer for the Falcons to go up 32-22 at that point.
York Prep 83, Cardinal Newman 79
York Prep edged Cardinal Newman 83-79 in a non-region game at York Prep Friday night.
Great Falls 81, Governor’s School 41
Fifth-ranked Great Falls routed the Governor’s School 81-41 in a Region 2A game at Hartsville Thursday night.
Great Falls finished the regular season with an overall mark of 17-4 and a region record of 8-2. The Red Devils tied with Lewisville for first place in the region, and earned the number one seed in the playoffs next week.
Lewisville 59, McBee 56
Sixth-ranked Lewisville edged McBee 59-56 in a Region 2A game at Richburg Thursday night.
Lewisville finished the regular season with a mark of 14-8 overall and a region record of 8-2. The Lions tied with Great Falls for first place in the region and got the number two seed from the region in the next week’s playoffs.
